We flew Kev over to Adelaide when we bought our new home after moving from Scotland. The back garden site is an unusual shape and we had no idea what to do with it, however Kev conducted a detailed on site consultation with us about what we like, didn’t like (plants, materials, colours and scents) and what uses and needs we could potentially see us needing from the garden over the years, rather then just the short term.

Kev made it enjoyable from the start even before the consultation at our home by by suggesting we take time (over a wine!) to sit and view each part of the garden from every aspect at different times of the day and evening rather than just the view from the house window as we’d been doing.

Kev then spent a couple of hours with us then went away and carefully considered what we had discussed (including our budget and the need to build in stages rather than all at once) and came up with various sketches and a plan that showed us how the garden could be segmented and created over time to incorporate a vegie patch, undercover dining area, some citrus trees, a lawn area for our young son as well as an informal garden that would showcase lots of natives and other plants suitable for the hot SA sun.

We now have a great design that we can have fun creating, and found the whole process relaxed and enjoyable and would thoroughly recommend Kev and inovasis design to anyone that needs help with creating their dream garden. We still liaise with Kev as we go and he’s always there to provide advice and support.
