This Stanmore Federation home was crying out for help! With probably the most unsympathetic colour scheme we’ve ever seen when they purchased the property, Scott and Christy wanted to bring the house into this century along with a simple, low maintenance garden that would welcome rather than scare off their visitors.

A simple palette of greens and whites with a feature Frangipani, Murraya hedging, Dwarf Mondo and Buxus edging were planted to freshen up the kerb appeal. Although a hundred year old property, a colour scheme of charcoal, grey and white was used to give the property a contemporary feel. All the brick work received tuck pointing to hi-light their impressive pattern, and beautiful grey and red tessellated tiles were laid on the porch and path and flanked by a couple of weeping figs. A red mail box and front door were added to compliment the red tiles. Needless to say the inappropriate pillars were removed…
