With sweeping views to the city, the harbour bridge and the cruise ship terminal, Jo wanted a place to relax with a glass of wine amongst lush plants in a tranquil space that provided a sense of enclosure, and that didn’t obstruct all that stood before her. A keen cook, she also wanted to grow some herbs but didn’t want her chill out zone to resemble a produce garden.
We capitalised on the triangular foot print of the balcony to help define the space to meet Jo’s request of separate, yet linked zones. We’ll be going back to see her soon and will bring you plenty of photo’s, but here’s a couple to keep you going…
