Our clients needed low maintenance street gardens to soften the boundaries and provide screening for their newly completed Nth Bondi home.
We designed a predominantly Australian native plant palette to compliment the existing landscape of the street and suit the aspects and soil of the gardens.
Blueberry Ash provide vertical screening to the internal staircase whilst framing the entrance to the property and internal gardens, whilst Acacia ‘Lime Magic’ and Peppermint Willow are dotted in other areas of the gardens to additional screening and some dappled shading.
Lomandra ‘Nyalla’, Purple Fountain Grass and Dianella varieties arch and cascade over a ground cover of Native Violets to blur the lines between the gardens and concrete footpath.
A new Bottlebrush was planted to keep the existing 2 company.
